Our creative approach balances business objectives with the aesthetic.
Simon James Cook is a hugely experienced digital designer and heads-up Getvanilla. For over 15 years he has worked successfully with organisations across the commercial, consumer and education sectors, helping them to take design and digital projects from concept through to implementation. Prior to setting up Getvanilla in 2011, Simon was a focused team leader within an agency environment, managing FMCG, financial and luxury watch brands. His credibility within the industry has been recognised as his work has been called-out in the Recommended Agency Register report. When running a creative project he enjoys forming a strong designer/client bond to ensure that both parties are fully engaged in the whole process not just the outcome.
Oliver Nicholson drives Getvanilla's overall business strategy and steers the client relationship framework. He graduated from the University of Greenwich with an Honours degree in Business Studies and held client management roles in the mid-90’s at some of the prominent London-based graphic design houses, working for FMCG and Corporate clients such as Mars, KP and Allied Domecq. During his subsequent career he has held senior project management and business strategy positions in the UK and Europe, including with Accenture, one the world’s top 5 business services organisations, working for clients including Microsoft and Vodafone. He has a proven track record of applying creative, strategic and leadership skills to achieve success in a client environment.
